Carolina Academy comes up short

Carolina Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 43-24 fall against the Florence Christian Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-16 last Tuesday.

Carolina Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Florence Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carolina Academy will take on Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at. As for Florence Christian, they will challenge Orangeburg Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
