Mrs. Snowden was born November 1, 1939, in Williamsburg County, to the late Hayden and Eunalee Walters Courtney. She was known for her compassion, as she always went out of her way to care for others. She was a Pre-K teacher at the Indiantown Presbyterian Church for 16 years. Many of her former students still fondly remember her as “Miss Linda.”
A dedicated member of Indiantown Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Snowden was deeply devoted to her faith and church community. Over the years, she served in various roles, including the hospitality committee, and was a member of the women’s circle. She also volunteered at the community Bible school and the Virtual School in Hemingway, where she was often referred to as one of the “church ladies.”

They enjoyed traveling all over the world and worked side by side to preserve their family farm.
