William Hall is no longer serving as Lake City Administrator, according to a statement from Lake City Public Information Officer Donna Tracy on Thursday evening. Details surrounding Hall's departure were not disclosed.
Hall’s tenure with Lake City spans over 15 years, beginning in 2008 when he joined the city’s finance department. He was promoted to Director of Finance in 2017 and, following the resignation of the previous city administrator, took on dual roles as Chief Financial Officer and Interim City Administrator in March 2021. Hall officially assumed the role of City Administrator in March 2022.
In the interim, Tracy confirmed that administrative responsibilities will be shared among the Executive Finance Director, City Clerk, and Mayor until a new administrator is appointed.
